The collection I'm compiling will all be Romero flicks with the exception of the Zack Snyder 2004 remake of Dawn, which in itself stands up well, unfortunately Day was ludicrous and I'm not quite sure what Ving Rhames was thinking when he signed up for it, but everyone makes mistakes.

I remember ROTLD from back in the 80's

I honesty I've only seen the colour remake of NOLTD, so I need to get the original, and I'll go with your advice on that one.. I personally enjoyed DiaryOTD, despite scathing reviews, probably because I took it for what it was - a social commentary, unlike LandOTD, which is a prime example of over controlling studios, stifling George's gift in the name of mass appeal and commercialism.

I've written Blu-ray reviews for Dawn and Land but I've just been reminded that I need to get to 15 posts to provide both links..

So this is the list:

Night Of The Living Dead (Optimum Release)
Dawn Of The Dead (Arrow Release)
Dawn Of The Dead (2004)
Day Of The Dead (Arrow Release)
Land Of The Dead
Diary Of The Dead
Survival Of The Dead

If the others get the Arrow treatment I'd be happy to upgrade.

Keep posting! We had to introduce this as we were getting people popping up to post a link to sell stuff with no interest in spending any quality time on here - left us with a lot of cold tea and crumpets as we sat there and realised they weren't here to play...

A crumpet toasted on a real fire - yum!

Might be going a bit off topic here I suspect...

Good topic though!

The Cinema Club release is recommended. Full version of the film (complete with 'The End' logo missing from some prints) and the excellent 78 min Reflections Of The Living Dead documentary as an added bonus.
