Thanks!
I think the artwork is Italian but not 100% certain.

That's a really interesting cover -- I'm not sure about it being sideways, but it certainly looks the part! It's also, in my opinion anyway, more evocative of the film that Rick's cover.

Rick has done sterling work in the past don't think this cover works.

Here's a non-sideways version.

Even though New York Ripper was cut it still became Shameless's biggest seller. It still is for all I know.

The previously cut footage in Inferno is the kind of thing the BBFC would still cut today. It can only be seen as to whether they will.

I've only seen Inferno on the Blue Underground R1 disc, so don't know what was cut from the Region 2 version -- could someone enlighten me please?

There's no UK release as yet (but thanks to Arrow there soon will be). The cinema print lost the shots of the cat eating the mouse, and the Fox video had an additional cut to the cat being hit against the chair.

A brief clip of a cat being smacked against a chair and 17 seconds or so of a cat eating a mouse in close-up.

Snap!

Here's the official BBFC cuts info.......

Quote:
INFERNO was classified 'X' for theatrical release in 1980 with the following cut -

Reel 6 - Sight of cat eating a mouse was removed, with one non-bloody establishing shot allowed.

For video in 1987 the same cut was made at 89m as well as another at 71m which removed sight of cat's head being bashed against back of chair in close up.
