Cheers oaxaca.
There certainly doesn't seem to be much artwork for inferno about. Mostly variations of the skull poster. Though like reaper, I do like the skeleton one.

If the film is cut then a larger may well appear outside the door of the BBFC.

I actually feel a bit bad at being so harsh about Rick's artwork, as he's a very talented guy and I do hope he doesn't get too disheartened. On the other hand, Dario has a rather rabid (and unforgiving) fanbase and I don't think this cover will go down too well. I like the painting as a work in its own right, it's great. However, I also feel it's not the best way to market this title.

But....as others have said, there's reversible artwork, so all's not lost. Just trying to be a bit optimistic!

I'm not too keen on the cover either tbh, but I like the arse!

Not diggin' the image. In and of itself -- it's great! But in terms of representing Dario Argento's INFERNO? No, not really. Needs to be...darker, more witchy. If sticking with the art, at least change the font.

If it's cut, a lot of sales will be lost. The BBFC need to see how decisions like this affect smaller labels like Arrow.

For some reason, this thread completely passed me by which is a shame as Inferno is one of my favourite Argento films.

Like many others, I don't like that artwork as it doesn't fit the tone of the movie at all -- what about a play on the R1 cover with the gas mask or something imagining the outside of the building?

Anyway, I hope it does get released uncut and, with an hour's worth of extras, this will be another double-dip.
