I watched that earlier too, looks like great comedy-horror 80s fun, in a similar vein to FRIGHT NIGHT or NIGHT OF THE CREEPS... Only made all the better by having the incredible, inimitable Grace Jones!

Picked this up yesterday in HMV and having never seen it I had a great first viewing of a quality 80's horror comedy! Great package as always, be nice if you guys do the same with Fright Night!

I would love to see FRIGHT NIGHT again, its been a long spell of time since I last watched that.

Personally, my favourite vampire movie of the 1980s is Kathryn Bigelow's Near Dark, the film that went head-to-head with The Lost Boys at the box office and lost badly!

Near Dark was so stunning when it came out. I ran a video library back then and got a time-code full uncut copy (cos the VHS release was cut) and was blown away. I am not so sure it has aged too well, but that could be because I have got sick to the back teeth of vampire movies over the last decade.

Nos, it probably bombed cos it didn't have pretty teens with daft fangs in it! Instead it had the scary kid from Rivers Edge!

I also love Near Dark, but to me it can´t beat that trio.

I know Near Dark is from 1987 but, for some reason, I never consider it an 80s movie. To me, it has a 90s feel.
