Very strange indeed, and only seemed to affect the film itself.
Audio always has seemed to be an issue with Bay.. weird. Maybe the original mix was just so poor and stems aren't available? The audio on my old Image dvd was appalling!

Bought it in HMV today, along with Macabre and Two Evil Eyes, so that's this week's viewing sorted !

Nice haul P Mac!

I watched this on both DVD and BD over the holidays and I can't see what all the fuss over colour is-to me it looked beautiful, and I've previously watched it on all other DVD versions over the years-AWE,RARO,XT VIDEO,IMAGE and the old cut UK version.

To me,this is what viewing a film is all about-a classic like this looking as clear as it can get,not sitting worrying what the director intended it to look like.

Don't see what all the fuss was about mate.

Credit where credit's due-it looked fabulous.

Anyway, the film itself, what do you all reckon the best slice and dice murder was?

Machete in the face takes a bit of beating I reckon!

Watched it for the first time tonight. Pretty good Italian giallo, if a bit slow. The murders were amazing, and the ending was hilariously OTT !

Mine arrived today... just carefully unwrapped it only to discover the top corner is a little bit crushed and dented

Great film though, just about to finally see it in HD!!

Mine arrived a couple of days ago too.
The outer white sleeve was pretty crushed, I'm afraid!

But I'm very happy with the artwork and everything... I'm only disappointed that it didn't include a bunch of art cards this time.

Lovely transfer IMO; the only thing people seem to get upset over is the fact that the Italian version of course looks quite a bit worse. Which is to be expected, considering the materials and that it was only added as a bonus feature.

Anyways, I loved to see that version of the movie! Watched it pretty much immediately.

What can I say?
Great work once again, Arrow!
