The slip-covered versions were always meant to be limited editions. I wouldn't be surprised if an unlimited double play edition was released soon, although nothing's been confirmed as yet!

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing the limited editions will be the only way for people to get the comics, too.

As I wanted to know exactly what was happening with these releases, I thought, what the hell, I'll send Arrow an email to see if they were willing to shed some light on the situation - and within a few minutes I'd had a reply...

Francesco at Arrow confirmed to me that they have not lost the rights to the films - they'll still have them for a few more years yet - but there were indeed only 2000 copies of each of the Ltd Editions printed - and so they are now OOP and once remaining stock has sold that will be it for the Ltds.

There is however, still a good supply of the Steelbook and apparently Arrow are waiting until that stock is gone until they issue 'New and Final Releases' of Demons/Demons 2'.

So, it looks like there will indeed be some form of 'Unlimited' release/s' in the future.

I'm grateful to Arrow for replying to a query so promptly, as they always do. Without them giving away too much about any future re-release/s, at least we know what's going on with the current editions.
No doubt they'll announce re-releases/unlimted editions once all the current stock has sold through.

I'm just glad i grabbed double copies of the slipcase BR editions upon release along with the steelbook.

Just took both Demons releases off my shelf, and the slipcase is coming away at the sides of the window. Not happy.

You're lucky they've lasted this long, had to glue mine on day 1!

Eh, they didn't! It's my 2nd copy of Demons. Tried gluing the 1st copy and got glue all over the window!
