i honestly think this so called feature was a disgrace to an excellent film in BLOOD SIMPLE
this films deserves a sp. ed. w/good extras and a proper commentary!

I'm sick of academic commentaries where you get people waffling and they bore me stupid. I thought the Blood Simple commentary was a breath of fresh air and certainly had me laughing. It's class - and typically Cohen Bros, too. So no, I think it's neither a disgrace nor out of place.

But I digress.

I haven't seen this announced - so thought I would mention it - For anybody that hasn't picked these up yet...
I noticed earlier that the Demons & Demons 2 BD'S are now listed as 'Out Of Print' (and in short supply) on Arrows' website...

That's exactly what I did, plus the Steelbook. That reminds me, I must get around to reviewing Demons 2.

Seems very sudden although I suspect Arrow held the rights for a longer period when the film wasn't released as opposed to when it was, which makes sense.

The other thing I'm thinking about with regard these going OOP so soon is, how many copies were actually pressed?
I might be mistaken, but wasn't it announced that there were only going to be 2000 copies of the Ltd Editions (the same qty. for Forbidden Zone & THBTC Ltds. too)?
The Steelbook isn't listed in the Arrow OOP Section but again, forgive me If I'm mistaken, I think there were 5000 of the Steely, so no doubt it will go OOP at some point soon too.
But then what happens?, there will only be the DVD's available?
Surely there must be some sort of Unlimited BD release/s on the cards?

For DVDs, I presume there'll be ArrowDrome releases. As for the BDs, have absolutely no idea.

If they're going OOP doesn't that mean Arrow don't hold the rights to them anymore? Or else they could just print more copies surely?
