It would appear that the zombie films are the only thing he gets financed these days. He's a great, intelligent filmmaker but the DEAD films should have stopped with DAY. He's made some great films otherwise, CREEPSHOW, MONKEY SHINES, the aforementioned MARTIN, are all brilliant in my eyes.

That said, the less said about BRUISER the better

I really should give Monkey Shines a second go. I saw it years ago and found it laughable, wonder if I'd change my mind now.

I've not seen it in year either, so maybe it'll have the reverse affect on me!

It's, oddly enough, one of the few films I still have on VHS. Might dig it out of the garage later this week.

I bought Monkey Shines again recently and found it to be even better than I remembered.

A very creepy film - monkeys are terrifying things.

i didn't like martin the first time i saw it but the more i see it the more i think it's one of the top ten best horror films i've seen, certainly my favourite vampire film.
the arrow treatment was brilliant, i advise any who missed out to grab a copy, even if you dont like it just buy it and watch it again.
