God damn it!
It works to, I tested it on several dipossable DVD's first.
By laminating them and blue tacking them to the cover as apposed to the sleeve there hardly recognisable. I've already done it to Dont Torture a Duckling.

What a great idea and kudos for making it work.

Nice one.

I'm curious as to how they look - any chance of you posting any pics, mate?

I should really watch the American Nightmare directors cut on my Tromamasterpiece DVD (which I haven't seen as I've only watched the theatrical cut), with this weather something to take the bleakness away afterwards!
The American Nightmare cut is the better film. Giovinazzo said that the timing was better when Troma cut and retitled it as Combet Shock but more recently he has gone back to his original cut being superior. I do miss the bombing of Vietnam and upbeat music at the beginning on Combat Shock - the opening titles on American Nightmare are far more appropriate though.

One of my favourite films and proof to peole who want to make films that they can do so with great skill even if there is no budget. Giovinazzo's later No Way Home is also excellent but depressing.

Title « British Board of Film Classification

Passed with no cuts made. So assuming the full version was submitted (and I can't see why it wouldn't have been) it's uncut

Is there anything in the film that would cause the BBFC to think about cutting it? I only ask as I've never seen Combat Shock before. Is there any sexual violence for instance? I've heard about the scenes involving drug-taking.Would these really cause a problem nowadays?

well i haven't seen the film myself but but there is a scene that it is famous for winch involves spoiler ..............

........

a man killing a baby and apparently cooking it

this may couse a bit of fuss and considering the dvd doesn't say uncut version on it makes me skeptical about its uncut status
