I flogged the house by the cemetary disc 2 on amazon for a couple of quid. What else was I going to do, leave some non bodegradable plastic in a landfill somewhere polluting the planet or make a couple of quid back on the film and give someone a cheap way of seeing the arrow disc. Its in no way illigal.

I seem to remeber Arrow saying that by entering into the replacement program you agree to not sell the faulty disc, I have two of them myself sat in a box doing bugger all, along with a faulty copy of Cabin in the Woods.

I dont recall it but perhaps... worst they could do is make amazon/ebay remove the listing. The disc 2 of house by the cemetary had the full film and extras of disc 1, I didn't sell it for loads but theres a lad in holland that got a disc only for a couple of quid. Waste not want not I say.

So they wanted you to throw it away or keep it? That'll be right!

I'm not too up on Blu Ray tech stuff, but has anyone else noticed really bad blockiness during the shark scene? Is that artifacting? It's a bit distracting. Probably only noticed it because I've had it on about ten times already . . .

I love to see them attempt to enforce that

I don't see how they could anyway, unless they constantly check sites like ebay and Amazon for listings.

The thing is, this would be an un-winnable situation for the company.

They could only ever enforce it through a court and even if by some miracle they won (which I can't see happening) it would do their company more harm then good with all the adverse publicity.

Imagine the headlines about how some company sues its own customers over a mistake they originally made.

I think it is just unethical to sell the faulty discs... Each seller has to fight that with his/her own conscience - I doubt they'll ruin the sales at this point in time... I wonder how such a seller would react when the buyer notices the missing seconds - would the real asshole appear?

I keep my faulty disc, like I did with the Beyond disc...
