Rosegarth if you can get a picture from the Sheffiled store up on here and there will be a DVD in it for you too. Sorry to hear you couldn't hold of NYR mate. All I'd advise is to ask staff - customer power rules especially if a few people start asking.

I'll be interested to see what you think of The Frightened Woman Philleh.
I'll let you know as soon as they stock it Almar - the silly place won't have it in until Monday 5th! lol. The didn't have Frightened Woman or Night Train Murders! .... Yet!

Well the new official start date is 5th May so I guess that makes sense - looks like stock leaked out and they're just putting it out which is no bad thing but NTM and Frightened Woman are real top titles in the range I'd like people to be able to pick up for a bargain.

I'll probably be going down Saturday. If you can hold on till then I'll get a filthy-fine image of the display minus the New York Ripper.

There were a couple of doubles - but that's due to the amount of space versus the amount of product they had. But as Almar said - they're doing it a week early! lol

The campaign is listed on the zavvi database at the original start date, hence the titles already being in the stores. But no official memo about the offer has been sent to stores yet, i guess that will happen this week. So expect displays of the titles to appear in zavvi stores next week. As for NYR being so elusive, i can tell you its the best selling shameless title in the store where i work, so its probably sold out in a lot of places (what self respecting horror fan could resist a film labeled as 'the sickest film ever made!').

Interesting... well keep us up to date - I'm worried they'll just end up with a load of Manhattan Babys! While I have a soft spot for the mad old film it's hardly the title I'd choose to introduce someone to Shameless.

Is New York Ripper still Shameless's best seller to date, Almar?
