This was decent enough. I haven't seen Divine Trash, so cannot compare it. The extras contained further interviews which fleshed out some anecdotes (this being the Peccadilo Pictures release)
I started rewatching Divine Trash last night (it's on YouTube) and it's actually a bio doc about John Waters and not Divine, although Divine is mentioned a lot as you would expect. John's Mum & Dad supplying anecdotes such as John liked to play 'Car Crash' and that's where that amazing scene with Taffy in Female Trouble came from haha.

Watched

No Manifesto (Elizabeth Marcus)

Manics doc. Could have done without endless interjections from the fans ahem.

Hitler's Hollywood (2019, Rudiger Suchsland)

Look back at the films UFA produced under Nazi rule. Interesting, recommended.

Conny Plank: The Potential Of Noise (2017, Stephan Plank, Reto Caduff)

Famous German music producer's son looks back at the father he hardly knew. Interesting enough, could have done with more footage imho.

Gimme Danger (2016, Jim Jarmusch)

Featuring (nearly ... Dave Alexander RIP) all the main players in this tale.
Slightly revisionist (mainly from Pop) history of a band you should all know.
That band being .... The Stooges. Don't know them? Here's a taste ...

Isn't that invigorating?

Sadly the drugs take hold and derail this juggernaut somewhat. A tad more Ron would have been nice, but you can't have everything it seems.

Recommended.
