If so you will enjoy captain america immensly, one of the major successes of the film is it captures the 40's pulp adventure tone perfectly, (helps its directed by the same guy as the rocketeer.) seriously cap is well worth a look!
Not seen Rocketeer

I loved Xmen but each to their own and all that jazz

Just opened up a little Christmas bundle that we got from my girlfriends parents, and that had The 39 Steps, It's A Wonderful Life and Gone With The Wind in it! Happy days, getting some of the classics in!

Finally... a copy of True Romance is on its way to me. The movie that I've never seen before...

Thanks Good to know. I was worried they'd put the prices up a little, as they never seemed to go over £17.99 for steelbooks before online, and now a lot seem to be £19.99. Good to see the hike hasn't translated into a hike in prices instore too.

Something to spend my Christmas money on, assuming I get any

It's so good! It took me a little time to fully get into it but I was gutted by the time it was over. I bet it looks fantastic on bluray (I only have the dvd which I stupidly bought instead of waiting for the BD)
