Rented the Van Damme film Until Death on Blu-ray. Not the greatest film in the world but the Momentum release really concerned me. The video codec used was MPEG-2, which is the standard codec for regular DVD. So this was little more than a DVD transfer simply plunked onto a Blu-ray disc. I hope this isn't a common occurence! So basically Momentum put out a Blu-ray that wasn't even hi-def!! It looked soft and lacked the sharpness and detail that an HD transfer should have.

Today brought me the Bronx Warriors Shameless tin (thanks GPR79!) and The Butterfly Murders!!!

SO pleased to have The Butterfly Murders again. Lovely package too, with some comical English translation on the back! Can hardly wait to see what the subtitles are like!

Yesterday I bought:

Hush - Loved this film, had to own it!
Flight of the Living Dead - Not great but good fun with some cool looking zombies
Manhunt - Know nothing about it but cover looked cool
Them - Really enjoyed this and the DVD came with a nice cardboard sleeve so had to grab it

All 4 for only £10
