Don't right off charity shops, on my daily scavenger hunt I came across the complete LWT series of the goodies factory sealed for £2! Also went into cash generator (our local heroin converters) and they were flooging their dvd's 10 for £10. Treated myself to.... k2 Rider on the rain (released by optimum and starring chuck bronson) body heat (shame on me for not owning this one yet!) Jackie chan and the kung fu kid. Topaz. Marnie. guest house paradiso. spellbound. The trouble with harry. Bats human harvest. Also my shout factory vampires mummies and monsters collection turned up this morning. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0055CP9HW Velvet vampire looks stunning, and is clearly influenced by jean rollin movies, its widescreen and has a commentary track. Havent seen this in years, not since I found a pre-cert vhs in a 2nd hand shop in preston as a teenage horror fanatic. Lady frankenstein. Best presentation i've seen. In what looks to be the correct widescreen ration with the u.s. and international cut it also appears to be totally uncut. The PQ still isn't fantastic and theres no italian language option but compared to previous public domain releases its the bees knees. Time walker. I've been wanting to see this again probably much longer than velvet vampire, my dad either rented it or it was on tv and I could never remember the films name, just the weird green killer fungus and the mummy! Great PQ and widescreen, plus a commentary. Grotesque. Same as the uk release, fullscreen, no extras, still a fun little movie with linda blair and tab hunter though and not unwelcome on the set. |
