An absolute bargain for this level of presentation of these excellent films.

Can't confirm they are uncut yet, but I don't see why they should be.
That's good to know - my only encounter with GRAND DUEL was via the UK DVD which looked so bad I had to turn it off.

Incidentally, both films are cut in the UK and will remain so. (Not unless the BBFC change their policy anyway)

I'm considering getting this also, look's like a fine disk.

Mine arrived today and, other than the menu being a pain in the arse when you want to just watch a specific trailer*, it's pretty damn good

* the 'trailer selection' part of the menu only has 8 trailers on screen at once so if you want to watch the 86th trailer you have to hit the right-arrow on your control 86 times. Actually, the trailers are in 2 rows of 4 so you can go to the 4th, then hit 'down' and 'right' to get to the next page but it's still a tremendous ball-ache. If it was for a feature film I would understand as no-one constantly flicks between scenes in a movie but for a disc of about 88 trailers 2-4 minutes in length OF COURSE YOU'RE GOING TO FLICK BETWEEN THEM AND WANT TO WATCH SPECIFIC ONES

Still, good disc though
VicDakin and Hawkmonger like this.

Oh right

It's the name of a shop and not a location

When I do find any Code Red releases in stock it is usually just one dvd.

The only time I saw more then one CR dvd in stock is when Nightmare in a Damaged Brain was for sale, they had a whopping 3 dvds in stock.

And has anyone tried out the Toshibe BDX1300?
As far as I know, only the BDX1200 can be made region free. I've read stories (So probably wrong) that people have been given the BDX1250 at Argos, and had to return them as the firmware update doesn't work.

I can confirm that it does work on the BDX1200. Freely available at Richer Sounds.

Edit : Although better than the Technika, there are still a few issues with a few discs with the Tosh too. Sigh.

The Mafu Cage is a splendid film. Tempted to upgrade to that version myself.

Yeah, I've had a few US prints of The Grand Duel which were practically unwatchable VHS transfers. Hence how amazed I was by this new Mill Creek version. I had presumed the materials just weren't there. But they were, thankfully!

Just showed one of my friends HOUSE OF THE DEVIL. God I enjoy that movie every time I watch it. Especially like how on blu-ray it actually looks like a classic early eighties movie stuck on blu-ray.
