The Directors Cut of Kingdom of Heaven is incredible. In the top 5 of Ridley's stuff for sure.

The theatrical cut of Kingdom of Heaven is poor, but the director's cut is much, much better, but Orlando Bloom is still terrible in it – with a better lead actor, it could have been a masterpiece.

Aside from a few moments, I don't really like Hannibal and Red Dragon is truly awful – Brett Ratner is a hack – but my least favourite Ridley Scott film is probably GI Jane.

Red Dragon was indefensibly bad. The whole film was a but "NUDGE NUDGE WINK WINK, 'remember this bit from Silence of the Lambs?"

Well, i'm a sucker for shit like that. It's not perfect, but I love it for what it is.

Ordered the Best Buy exclusive Get The Gringo blu-ray. With exclusive bonus content and (imo) better cover than the standard version (though not sure if it's just the slipcover that features this artwork).
