I saw it at the cinema and, though the UK title works in terms of dry humour, Get the Gringo just sounds better!

I dunno, I'm glad they ditched the romance between that mega butch nurse and Barney I also prefer the ending of the film.

I just like it for the campy grand guignol lavish stylings, and I really liked the Hanz Zimmer score. Not so keen on Julianne Moore as Clarice though . . .

I thought they were both just awful!

May I try?

Firstly and most importantly - it's unutterably boring! it goes on forever spewing out scene after unmemorable scene. Russell Crowe is just a dreadful presence on screen. And the whole time I wanted to be watching Spartacus or The Vikings or even a cheesy peplum so I could have some fun rather than sit through yet another dreary, po-faced attempt by Ridley Scott to seem as talented and important as Stanley Kubrick.

I thought Gladiator was a pretty looking disaster.

How appropriate that I picked up Thelma And Louise in a charity shop yesterday - the last decent Ridley Scott film (that I have seen, anyhow).
