Also picked up Cobra, Hidden, Potiche, Don't Look Now, and the original Cape Fear in the 5 for £30 deal.

The Skin I Live in is one of my favourite 'new' films. I'd give it a 10/10. It's got everything . Great story, great acting, but pretty hard to watch at times. I hope you enjoy it!

As I have just explained to someone on Facebook, I think it is one of the best films to come out of Hollywood in the last couple of decades. I rate it very highly in all departments.

And now I can ditch the awful low-bitrate recording I had from BBC3!

It really is a fantastically funny and smart dissection of high school life. Easy A also fits into a similar category.

Wandered into the British heart foundation in kendal and found a still sealed copy of Blair Witch on Blu-ray for £3.99!

Bargain.

I picked up 13hrs fairly recently.

It wasn't bad at all, very low budget British horror, but a decent cast whom you can't wait to get savaged. Its by Jonathan Glendening, the director of Strippers vs Werewolves.

I could never bring myself to watch a film called 'Mean Girls', especially one that stars Lindsey Lohan!!!!

Well, you're really missing out and shouldn't be put off by Lindsay Lohan. It's written by Tina Fey (of 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live fame) and is an excellent film which I keep meaning to buy.

Buy or rent it – you won't be disappointed.

Agreed

When I have a sort out, and get rid of my *spit* 'family friendly films', it's going to be one of the ones I keep
