Didn't quite get the first dvd in to shot on what would have been a quality photo
Sounds like you had a bad day Sharon.

I don't know if two collectors is a good thing, on one hand you would save money but I bet you would just end up buying more if you have someone there to encourage you....
You could be right. I've never gone out with a serious cineaste either and in fact I don't have any friends who really fit into that category. In fact my last girlfriend wouldn't even sit down to watch a film full stop!

Well my wife has no interest in Cult films or film collecting and I'm okay about that - it's my own little thing, and I don't mind having it all to myself. I actually don't know anyone in my regular life who's into Cult movies, and for a long time I was a little embarrassed about having a substantial film collection but I'm no longer worried about it now. There are a lot worse things in life to be than a film nerd...

Somehow I have started thinking about 1970s European horror cinema for some reason!

Two collectors could easily get out of hand, I get images of those houses that belong to hoarders where the emergency services have to climb over small mountains of stuff to get in the house, my place isn't like that....yet.

I'd personally recommend Uzumaki and Mimi No Kaidan, and once your used to his style (and disturbed mind) read his better short stories in Junji Ito Kyoufu, which is essentially Museum Of Terror, but with all his better stories and all the stuff which never got an official release in English. Also I'd personally skip Tomie and the Souichi stories, as im not a fan.
I started with museum of terror! Really liked some of the f****d up ideas with tomie, ended up liking (most of) the films as well.
