Is there something I don't know about the Blu-ray of Le Havre, or are you just being tight Nos?

I didn't know it was available on BD, I just assumed it was, like Kaurismäki's other films, a DVD-only release.

Match Factory Girl is excellent. But I love (read: LOVE) Ariel. Must watch it again. I have it knocking around on VHS somewhere, I think...

Yeah that's a great one too (shame it doesn't star Kati Outinen though!). I have it in the 1st Artificial Eye Kaurismaki boxset along with Matchstick and Shadows in Paradise. I'm yet to see any of his Leningrad Cowboys films . . .

Raro should start using better dvd cases as the two I've bought recently have arrived with the discs loose because the clip had broke.

Ogre is really bad Goji.

What's the transfer like on the US edition?

I have the European Raro one.
Very nice indeed.
But no doubt there'll be a US Bluray soon.

Splendid. As I hoped!

I cannot resist a film starring John Schneider.
