Apart from the bits with dinosaurs in, I thought it was rubbish! His worst film, IMO.

Though I haven't seen The Hobbit 1 yet.

Some great titles there, The Stand is my favourite Stephen King book, I usually read it every couple of years and the TV adaption is pretty spot on too. I find that when I watch it I need to set aside a full day because I have to watch all of it in one sitting.
The Reptile isn't one of Hammer's best films, but it looks fantastic on the SC blu

Nothing to do with the player, it's the tv. Grey bars at the sides when watching 4:3 tv shows, it's a plasma tv, and its to help prevent image burn on the screen. But dvds and blu-rays have black bars because they're generated by the player and not the tv. I'll get used to it......maybe!

Grey bars...shmey bars, I find the old trout in the middle more annoying, ahem.

The first rule about Zavvi delivery times is you don't talk about Zavvi delivery times.

Their record is two months

I have it and it's actually region free. The title doesn't bother me.

If you didnt like lord of the rings I can pretty much guarentee you wont like the hobbit. Personally I really like them, thought king kong was dissapointing and the lovely bones was just a total mess.

Just picked up Kurosawa's Ran on BD from HMV, been after this for ages, such an epic film - i could watch films about feudal Japan all day long - which would equate to probably 2 films the length of them :pound:
