Watched One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest last night. I wasn't holding out too much hope for the blu ray given the age of the film but I was pleasantly surprised, it looked great, much sharper and brighter. The audio sounded a little bit flat and muted (had to crank the volume up to hear the dialogue) but I suppose playing it through my TV speakers doesn't help! Well worth picking up though....

Got it from D&T. Doesn't say anyhting about it being a rental version anywhere on the disc or cover.The cover is exactly the same as the one shown on D&T,except all it lists on the back is a trailer instead of all the special features Only bought it to bring my purchase price above the required 15 euros and the fact that it had all those special features.Perhaps the dvd company has replaced it with a barebones release now.

That shows a different cover for the edition with the special features Very strange.Who knows what's going on! Oh well,Just have to get the U.S. edition as well.

Yeah bloody D&T,They show the back cover from the special edition and the front from the edition with only a trailer on the site I've been duped

Btw according to what I've read the German dvd version is a different version than the US version and should include more gore/different edits/alternative footage/alternative soundtrack/different end titles.
