I couldn't help myself and watched The Thing last night. Just as stunning as the HD DVD was (identical in fact) and packed with all the extras from the SE. Definitely worth picking up. The detail is astounding and the FX is finally given the clarity it deserves, showing details I'd always missed before. I never realised the Doc was wearing a nose-ring!!

Yep that's the one kyle, never seen it but trying to pick up as many Corman flicks as i can, so thats another one done..

There's a lot of films to get! Speaking of which, I ordered Thunder And Lightning last night too. It's another Corman carsploitation film, starring none other than John Carradine - looks great! Only about £2ish from Amazon.

Actually it's John's little boy David. John was a bit old for crashing cars by then.


I first saw it on the cinema supporting Damnation Alley. Those were the days.
