Is Maniac region free and does it look good?? Been meaning to pick that one for ages.

I just bought Big Trouble In Little China blu on amazon for £8.00 inc postage because I remembered Rik saying it was region free! There is no reason I can see why Fox hasn't released that in Europe - it makes no sense!

Maniac is region free but looks awful, in my opinion. No upgrade in quality whatsoever, in fact I think it may have looked worse than the DVD counterpart although to be fair it's been a long time since I watched the DVD.

I don't own it all - is there a UK release and is it uncut, or would it be the BU DVD? Sorry I know I could find this info with ease but I'm being lazy today :lol:

I have the UK (Anchorbay?) DVD and I don't remember it looking as bad as the US Maniac Blu-ray from BU which is what I assume you were talking about. I may be wrong though but still it wasn't really upgrade worthy in my eyes. Maybe for Special Features though, not sure

£51 quid. Doesn't happen too often, believe me! Fancy 3-1 Liverpool tonight, but no chance of 2 in a week coming up. Maybe I should start a betting thread and lead us all on the road to ruin (or bigger collections:))

today's delivery will have to send red dawn back as there was a crack on the disc which was so bad its nearly in half, so much for quality control at some cex stores, seems unlikely it was done in transit as all other discs or fine and it was secure in the box
