IMO, watching Mallrats right after Clerks benefits Mallrats more than it would watching it on it's own - it takes place in the same universe and at the same time as Clerks so a lot of the people mentioned in Clerks show up in Mallrats.

However watching J&SB before watching Mallrats might make you go WTF ?!?!

J&SB has it's moments, it's a 3/5 film for sure, but if you're in the mood for it it's a 4

Mallrats takes place on the friday, Clerks on the saturday, so says the booklet in the Criterion Chasing Amy, although, I think both films said Julie Dwyer died the day before, so that screws up the day before arguement!

Picked up Looper (German blu-ray) and Stitches (German blu-ray) on my way home tonight. I also ordered Livid and The Victim both on U.K. blu-ray from Play.
