It's probably worth an upgrade for the better picture quality – the sound is the same as on the DVD.

Someone on Amazon claims the transfer is absolutely stunning. The best they've ever seen.

I wouldn't go that far, but it is really good and a massive step up from the DVD. It's just a shame the only audio options are Dolby Digital 5.1 surround or 2.0 stereo and it doesn't contain the original version as well as the director's cut.

Just put a few more US blu ray orders in after a rather large clearout to cex... Apparently Olive are having issues with their current blu ray releases, probably due to the sheer quantity of films they're putting out at the moment, so therefore I'm not sure when I'll be receiving HELL'S HALF ACRE or CHINA GATE, even though they have technically been released.
