In a second hand record shop nearby I bought Lugosi's "White Zombie" (£1) and "Batman: The Mystery of the Batwoman" (£2).
From the British Heart Foundation Shop I escaped with "The Devil's Backbone" for £1.99.
When you top that list off with a couple of Farside books for £4 it has been a jolly good day! | Love 'Dr Terror", like 'White Zombie', 'The Devil's Backbone' is a good film too.
'Manimal' that was practically stealing u lucky dog you!!!, wanted to pick this up when it came out but seemed pretty expensive. I liked it a lot when i was a kid but also thought it may not have aged well by modern standards, you'll have to tell us your opinion once you've revisited it.:pop2:
i'm a fan of Farside too, very surreal and intelligent but also very funny.
A good haul u got there mate.:) |
