Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I did. The best "reimagining" of a classic horror so far. Very jumpy, gorey and just great fun. Enjoy!

Nice pick up B!

My THE PROWLER arrived today!

I also picked up IN HMV tonight;

SHUTTER ISLAND HMV Exclusive and

PERMISSIVE-BFI Which was on sale for £12.99!

Pity they didn't have any more BFI Blu Rays!

I'm hoping that my Prowler disc arrives tommorow. Really looking forward to seeing some more gory Savini delights.

Bargain b!

My Psycho SteelBook arrived today, so I will giving that a spin tomorrow no doubt. It's not region locked either, if any of our US friends wanted to opt for the steely.

I watched Shohei Imamura's Vengeance is Mine on Blu-Ray last night coutesy of Eureka, and it was absolutely phenemonal. There is some grain present on this '70s Japanese Crime thriller, but it all adds to the atmosphere. Even with some grain, the picture has been cleaned up exceptional well: this can be seen most effectively in the opening scenes during the snowfall. It comes with all new and improved subs, too.

An essential title to have on Blu if you're into that kind of film, imo.

Also, speaking of Eureka, I also ordered the following tonight:

Less than £12 brand new inc. P&P - terrific film too.

(Plus it's triple play)

I thought that was a terrific movie with an incredible performance by Nicholas Hope at its centre. There is a really interesting mode where you watch the film wearing headphones as Hope had tiny microphones over each ear so you can basically watch the movie from Bubby's perspective I'd recommend that on your second viewing, perhaps after the commentary.
