I wish that bugger wasn't locked to A, or region free players were cheaper!

Got a package today from CAV distribution and inside was the Crystal Lake Memories Documentary with the extra bonus disc. The CLM doc that I received yesterday came from Amazon.com, gonna keep that baby sealed. Will check out today's arrival ASAP.

This is what I did. I bought a second hand Philips BDP3000 for 30 euros. It's an older model and you can find lots of them (at least here in Holland). Downloaded region A firmware (which is free) and flashed it to the player without any problems. If you can find this model, I'll be happy to email you the firmware and instructions.

I thought Vampire Lovers was like their one region free title, similar to Arrow's Spider Baby being region free.

They apparently stated it was a mistake and they're going to lock future pressings on their Facebook page. Same with the X-ray / Schizoid double feature. If anyone's interested in that, and assumed it was region locked, it's worth picking it up before they repress it and lock it.

You know what, I think somebody already confirmed this a few weeks back thinking about it now
Guess it was seeing the back cover that made me think it was locked
