Have not watched Hardware in years, the number of times i rented that from the video shop i could have bought it several times over, im guessing its probably aged now but really looking forward to watching it.

As for Battle Royale, well what can i say, imo an amazing film. Have seen it several times in the past and cant wait to watch it on blu ray. Gutted with that one tho as was an impulse buy and only after ordering it from Arrow (can see me having to sell some organs to fund the goodies they have available lol) realised there is a 3 disc edition with uncut and theatrical versions of the film so i will HAVE to pick that up at a later date when money allows.

This week's arrivals.

My From Dusk Till Dawn-Titty Twister Edition arrived today, just under £15 from Zavvi. But, seeing as there's a month long sporting event, that I'm not allowed to talk about on at the minute; I'll be keeping it sealed for the time being :)

Saw this R1 in town centre charity shop, £1.99
(it even had the original receipt in with the disc, bought from Digitalworld in Florida for $17.99, god knows how it made it's way to me:lol::lol:)

I find the film really funny, kind of Robocop+ with it's gung-ho military silliness and daft fascist politics, it's really not to be taken seriously, the original book is far darker and grim tho.

What Have You Bought Recently?

2 for £10 in Asda. Yes I know, you all don't like Danny Dyer. :p

I know the general consensus is hmv are still too expensive but i just picked up frankenstein and the monster from hell and re-animator steelbook blu rays for 14.99 each. They also had aguirre and nosferatu steelbooks for 14.99 and arrow stuff thats not steely at 2 for 25 quid. Those seem loke reasonable prices to me!

Yes I have noticed as well, al lot of bargains to be had at HMV, ok there is still a lot of stuff stupidly priced, but they are a lot better than amazon are at the moment

Both Frankenstein and the re-animator are significantly cheaper than amazon...
