The Long Weekend remake,isn't bad,as remakes go....

The original is still a chilling piece of Ozploitation though.

I agree that [Rec] is a terrific film and that's why the BD is near the top of my 'to buy' list.

I class The Devil's Backbone as a horror film but Pan's Labyrinth is a fantasy-drama with horror elements rather than an outright horror.

I agree DB is more of a horror then PL but guess we gonna have to agree to disagree as I class DB as a drama/horror instead of a straight up horror.

PL is deffo a fantasy movie with horror elements.

No actual zombies on screen but its a very atmospheric movie.

I thought Pontypool was a really smart and claustrophobic piece of work that shouldn't have worked but did and I really must dig out the disc and give it another watch.

Finally got around to getting the BD of The Mist - arrived this morning.

Waiting on some Godzilla flicks from Hong Kong.

Just waiting on my Battle Royale Blu-ray to arrive and this week I also picked up Death Note, Death Note 2: The Last Name and Death Note: L Change The World, all the Limited Edition Book versions. They all look lovely so I'm a very happy man!

3disc box set Fast and furious, 2fast 2Furious, and tokyo drift, £3
