Default What Have You Bought Recently?

A couple of blu's arrived. For some strange reason, Armour Of God is listed as a dvd on Amazon, leading eveyone to believe the blu-ray had been cancelled. And Cannon Films last theatrical release, American Cyborg Steel Warrior. Released on blu-ray by Platinum Cult in Germany, unfortunately no negative exists for the film anywhere, if we believe Mr Krekel (doubtful, coming from Cannon), and the back of the box mentions that it's a Pal SD source upconverted to HD (much like Slasher Video's Deadly Prey blu-ray). Now, I'm not sure what this says about the quality of the other Platinum Cult blu's, and to be honest, most of them have actually been pretty good to my eyes, but American Cyborg actually looks good too (a lot better than the screenshots I've seen of Deadly Prey), and If I hadn't known, I probably wouldn't have been able to tell. That last statement could mean there's something really wrong with my eyes though!

Good old CEX.
I have had some great luck with CEX recently as this is another buy that is excellent condition and like it has never been watched.

There's nothing quite like these two brilliant Álex de la Iglesia films. Horns, man.
