If you visit the cinema occasionally, it's worth seeing on the big screen because there are several expansive and/or loud scenes. However, it's not something like Hacksaw Ridge with massive cinematic sequences, and is mostly small, intimate interior scenes. It has some great costume designs and the best delivery of the words "semolina pudding" I have ever heard.

Nice book, gives an overview of certain aspects of horror in synopsis format, then picks out choice flicks from each decade.

It's always frustrating when something is missed out that you really rate. But although this is more selective than many books the titles chosen i mostly own.
So it's nice because it seems to be on my personal wavelength.:nod:

I have that book and it is indeed excellent nos. The selection of films is just right and the writing is superb.

Ha'ha. I've marked Tuesday the 9th down as my next visit. I'm not taking it as a holiday so need time to organize so i have a few hours completely free. :lol:
