Charity Shop:

The Norman Wisdom Collection - 12 DVD box set (still sealed) - £3:99

The set contains
  • On the Beat
  • Man of the Moment
  • Trouble in Store
  • Up in the World
  • The Square Peg
  • Follow a Star
  • The Bulldog Breed
  • One Good Turn
  • A Stitch In Time
  • Just My Luck
  • The Early Bird
  • Press For Time
and I'm expecting it to get a bit 'samey' after the second or third film, but hey - good old fashioned English slapstick

"Mr Grimsdale!!"

I've still to watch there was a crooked man because it was filmed in my home town Darwen, I like to see what to what my home town looked like before hence why I love looking at old pics of Darwen as well .

Darwen is quite known for a lot of things Ghandi once visited , there was a crooked man filmed there , so was Hetty Wainthropp investigates the house they used for her to live in was just round the corner from me, and few other bits of TV shows as well . also I just found out recently that Darwen was a contender for filming league of gentleman there .

Bedroom Window isn't anything like Rear Window, though. Guttenberg isn't paralysed, and nor is he even the witness - his married lover sees the crime, but he pretends he was to keep her out of it, only to end up becoming prime suspect.
