It does. I've seen me buying a film with no extras on it if it has good artwork, even if there is special edition out there with artwork I don't like. Just one of my many eccentricities.

I watched my copy of Burial Ground (The Nights of Terror) yesterday, and whilst not reference quality (but what do you expect?), it's a definite upgrade over the DVD.

The biggest improvements are to the brightness (you can actually see what's happening in the outdoor night scenes now ) and colours seem more well-defined. Plenty of natural grain, too.

Boring technical points aside, it's such a great film and an essential slice of 1980s zombie cinema, in my opinion. If you love it (like I do) then the upgrade to HD is certainly worth it.

I watched The Last Starfighter on Blu Ray last night and the picture was outstanding, great seeing this 80's classic get the treatment it rightly deserves. It was around £8 from Planet Axel so really recommend picking this up!

I've double dipped on a few titles which are exactly the same apart from the artwork just so my collection is as complete as possible.

Currently £9.99 on Play for the BD/DVD steelbook combo. My spending's out of control at the minute (even though I don't buy half as much as people on here!). Can't turn that down at that price though.

I've ordered a copy and I'm really glad I didn't buy one when they were retailing for £18! As I already have a check disc, I'm really paying £10 for the proper disc and the lovely, lovely Steelbook.

Some nice pick-ups there, ped.

Caligula for £6 is an absolute steal.
