Axel have just dropped their prices and eliminated the fixed customs fee.

Delivery is now £1.79 an item (I think it's slightly more for the first item, though).

My order was around £20 cheaper than it would have been if I'd ordered it last week.

I bought SCARLET STREET on blu ray from axel this morning. It was £12.93 + £2.99 shipping and handling costs. Worked out a bit cheaper than amazon.com, movietyme, ebay.co.uk, etc. plus they always have the best delivery times imo. Can't go wrong with axel now they've lowered their p&p. Hopefully they'll have another free p&p offer on again this spring/summer.

Also pre-ordered DRACULA POD blu from thehut for £14.95, they have a 5% quidco rate today only so thats what swung me.

Ordered the French steelbook of The Thing prequel (hopefully! It doesn't say steelbook on the site anymore but people who ordered it the day before yesterday got the steelbook, so fingers crossed).

I've just had one of my splurges at Planet Axel and ordered:

Shiver of the Vampires
The Iron Rose
Lips of Blood
Fascination
The Nude Vampire
Tokyo Drifter
Virgin Witch*
Killer's Moon*
Monty Python and the Holy Grail*

*Pre-orders

as you can see, lots of Jean Rollin Redemption BDs and, as it's my favourite Monty Python film (and one of the greatest British films), and delighted Monty Python and the Holy Grail is being released. (March 13, if you're interested.)

When you've had a chance to watch Abracadabra, the Dead and the Deadly and Hocus Pocus, let me know what you think of them.

Just a few little things over the last few weeks, as there are some other pretty expensive hobbies of mine at the moment...

Greetings!
