Museum of terror is a definate must read, it's one of his most famous and features on of the all time great horror characters TOMIE (incidentally who has her own series of films) also GYO the death stench creeps is another good one, recently got turned into an anime film but it's not out over here yet.

GYO: Tokyo Fish Attack [DVD]: Amazon.co.uk: Takayuki Hirao: Film & TV

Dear god I spoke too soon!

Someone has turned it into a cheesy looking live action movie. At a 15 cert I wouldn't count on this being anywhere near as disturbing as the book or the anime!#

Just checked youtube and it IS the anime with lousy cover art.....

I JUST BOUGHT IT!!!!

It's seriously f*****g good! REALLY disturbing!

I can't dig up a pic of it, but I love that piece of They Live advertising with a very presidential looking skeletal alien standing behind a podium and the caption above him is "You sir are no human being!"

Recent orders:

Oh and Raro have delayed NIGHT OF THE DEVILS yet again! We're now not going to see it 'til next year!! They're turning into SHRIEK SHOW

And I don't know when/how studiocanal's planned release of GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES morphed into CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO but hey ho I've never seen that one so its not the end of the world.

And finally, I really can't wait for some of the upcoming Eureka BD releases; THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, ONIBABA & GATE OF HELL will all be incredible Anyone watched DIE NIBELUNGEN yet?? Mine's still sitting pretty on the shelf, 'til I can find the 4 odd hours needed to watch it

Here's a PV of GYO... I'm surprised this came out with so little fanfare!

My girlfriend said "How much!?!" when I showed her I'd purchased this. We're not getting married.
