It's a fine set that, J. I have it. I'm up to For Your Eyes Only in my rewatching.

I've been planning to upgrade the films one at a time as you can generally get the blu rays for around 2 or 3 quid. This seemed a no brainer for the price though. Even at £25 it's only just over a pound a film. With trading some of my original dvds in (most were only worth 10p) and a few other bits though it's 80p a film. Also it's a considerable space saver on the shelves. Just a pity there's no nice poster art anywhere to be seen. The original dvds had the lovely spinebuilder.

I like it because it's bulky enough to be used as a 'book end' set which prevent my Premium Collection titles from falling over sideways.

Wound me up no end watching the chap in Cex stick the discs in in no particular order whatsoever. Also while no Bond boxset will likely ever be complete, it's a shame it doesn't include No Time To Die or at least a space for the disc. Might just toss On Her Majesty's Secret Service...

Because I know how much information is stored on 35mm film, I'm not sure why I was so impressed by how good Jaws looks in 4K. It's a superbly shot film, so the colours and detail levels in the 4K restoration are extremely impressive.
