I really like the film – the interplay between Chris Hemsworth's titular demigod and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk/Bruce Banner is very funny, Cate Blanchett is a very good antagonist, and I really like Taika Waititi's direction, plus Jeff Goldblum is brilliant as the effete but unpredictable Grandmaster.

Although i have the dvd and this is an upgrade i honestly couldn't tell you a thing about the film.

I'm happy to upgrade the MCU to Blu whenever i see them going cheap as there are some excellent films among them but i doubt i'll be going any further than Avengers Endgame.

Quite recently I've been watching boxsets of films,
I've never properly seen all Harry Potter films, I have them on Blu-ray, I've binge-watched them, I'm half way through no 6, and I do have the other Hunger games films somewhere I dig it out and watch all of them. Then I'll do all 6 films of Lord of the Rings and Hobbits, been a while since I've seen them.

Across the Spider-Verse 4K UHD arrived. Like first film, looks stunning from what I saw. Sizable upgrade over the included blu-ray and a real showcase for this more expensive format. Would recommend a purchase. Will watch tomorrow afternoon (my wife and I are on holiday this week).

Also 2008 released German blu-ray of Sleepy Hollow was sent for free from a friend because he bought a 4K UHD copy.. It does look better than my old UK Optimum bd and pleasingly the weird brief standard definition footage on that disc (around 18 and a half minutes in) is in proper hd on this German bd.

Was reading a couple of people saying their copies of this German bd had actually died on them so to play it safe, I'm keeping it in a 2 disc case along with my old UK disc (so I'm always guaranteed a working copy). Sneak peek showed German disc working fine but
hearing that makes me a bit wary. Watching Sleepy Hollow today.

I was hoping that you'd bought Sleepy Hollow, particularly the Steelbook because I wanted to know what the booklet was like

It's a weird one, like a media book but with a steelbook casing instead of a hardcover book.
