I've often wondered if an actor would feature on this threads list of subjects. An Arnie / Clint / Stallone / Sandler top 10 for instance.

Lists would be awful repetitive for Arnie and Stallone though. I was thinking Christopher Lee might be a good idea. He made a few decent films.

A joke, Sandler that is.

If this thread is going to continue to run and run we might run out of ideas without using actors as categories from time to time. Lee, and Cushing are obvious choices. Price has already been done i think.

That's a good idea. It would have to be an actor with broad appeal and a sizeable filmography, so not Adam Sandler – my list would consist of one film: Punch Drunk Love!

Must have missed Price. Actors are fine but surely everyones Arnie list would be very similar. That said i just checked IMDB and he has made more films than immediately come to mind. And as for Sandler i think i might be able to do a top 5?

My lists for both men would be atypical because I didn't grow up watching the action movies for which they are best known and generally referenced around these parts. I don't know when I last watched Commando, for example, and probably last saw The Running Man in 1995!

To be honest i can't remember the last time i watched either properly. Know i love them but too many films not enough time.

There are probably a lot of actors and actresses we could use, thinking outside the box at times like with say Samuel L Jackson, meaning people who have been in a lot of films but not necessarily starring in them.

Just had a look at the actors with most credits. Probably best to avoid the likes of Jill Kelly and Aurora Snow who have 1000 films between them. That's before we get to sir Ron of Jeremy.
