It was almost impossible to put these in order of preference, and I'm still not entirely happy, but this is my top 10:
  1. Don't Look Now
  2. The Wicker Man
  3. Alien
  4. An American Werewolf in London
  5. Repulsion
  6. Peeping Tom
  7. The Descent
  8. The Innocents
  9. Dracula (1958)
  10. 28 Days Later…

Yup! You're a complete idiot!

I could do a top ten for each decade from the fifties onwards and still i'd miss out some beauties.

I like the cut of your jib, young fellow-me-lad!

I could do that, then finish with an overall top ten. Besides it would help with my selection process.

A great idea why not no point restricting yourself to just ten especially on your specialist subject.

So it's nice to see some fans of both. Since I didn't catch the "only horror" bit ahem, replace RTW and Melody with Fright & Terror respectively....
