Thank you all for a great week of top ten death scenes. You've put a lot of effort in so cheers one and all.

This week, i've done all the work for you....

...yes, it's cut and paste time.

The subject is The Films of Dario Argento.

Basically i'd like to know what you think are his best films? Here they all are.

The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970)
The Cat o' Nine Tails (1971)
Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1971)
The Tram (1973)
The Eyewitness (1973)
Five Days in Milan (1973)
Deep Red (1975)
Suspiria (1977)
Inferno (1980)
Tenebre (1982)
Phenomena (1985)
Opera (1987)
Two Evil Eyes -The Black Cat (1990)
Trauma (1993)
The Stendhal Syndrome (1996)
The Phantom of the Opera (1998)
Sleepless (2001)
The Card Player (2004)
Do You Like Hitchcock? (2005)
Jenifer (2005)
Pelts (2006)
Mother of Tears (2007)
Giallo (2009)
Dracula 3D (2012)

I'd like you to rank them all, or as many as you've seen, in order, the best being first of course. That's why it's a possible top 24 this week for a change. However don't let the fact you haven't seen a film deter you. If you've only seen five or six of his output that's fine, we want as many lists as possible so we can determine the definitive Dario Argento. Once all the results are in i'll get the Cult Labs tech chimps to work and we can do an official Cult Labs ranking of all his films based on your lists.

Guess i got me some films to watch this week. My Argento viewing is either poor or out of date. Good one though Dem.

That doesn't matter, J.

Just rank as many as you can, don't feel bad for not having seen them all (I doubt anyone has a copy of Five Days in Milan), just do as many as you can.

The more the merrier.

Just wait until you lot see how highly i rate Mother of Tears. I imagine some of you will weep.

Good reason to actually try and catch up Dem. I've got Inferno, Cat O Nine Tails, Phenomena and Dracula to watch for a start, plus I'd like to rewatch Suspiria. Does frustrate me how many and yet at the same time how few films I've actually seen.

I've tried to order these so the shite is at the bottom. Forgotten (almost) how much shite is in Argentos filmography. The first 10 I'd say are great. The first five mastepieces.
