So Iron Maiden aren't cool? Ask the millions who bought their last album or went to see them live around the world.

The Jam.

During the period 1979 - 1983, how many singles did Iron Maiden have that went straight into #1, and then how many did The Jam have?

At that time, Maiden were not cool - The Jam were!!

I wasn't!!!!!!!!!

To me a cool movie moment is something you'll never forget. A part of a film, not necessarily our favourite films, but a moment you loved, or a moment that defined your love for films.

I agree with the first part. As for my post, I was just giving an idea of what I considered 'cool' in cinema so Susan could apply that to moments rather than characters or movies.

Just because it's not the majority opinion doesn't mean it isn't considered 'cool' by quite a lot of people.

In the late 1970s, many people thought they were 'cool' if they had a safety pin through the nose, but that was far from the dictionary definition of the time!

That's probably how my list will look. It will be moments from films where I thought 'I want to do that', 'I want to say that', 'I want to talk like that', 'I must buy that album', or just 'Wow. That was awesome'.

That is a good point

Anyway, I'll probably duck out of this weeks choice, just to be on the safe side...

Great choices, Keirarts.

Very cool of you to include Dracula and The Wild Bunch.
