Looking forward to getting CHARADE! Can't beat a bit of Archie Leach heh. May also pick up CANDYMAN, didn't know this was due to be released.

I thought that was already out as I've been meaning to write the review for weeks and it's now been so long I need to watch it again!

You're right it is :doh:

DVD Release Date: 31 Dec 2015

:lol::lol::lol:

It's all very weird though because they've actually already released it. At first it was a HMV exclusive then Amazon had it. I wonder why their original listing for it is unavailable there?

Infernal Affairs - The Complete Trilogy [Blu-ray]: Amazon.co.uk: Alan Mak, Andy Lau, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Edison Chen, Shawn Yue: Film & TV

Here's the HMV one and it used to be nearly £30

hmv.com: Music CDs, DVDs, Games & More

All these deals when I've got no cash!

I was going to order the fancy one from Yes Asia but, for £18, HMV has my custom instead.

I think they're supposed to be pretty much identical transfer-wise. I used to have the huge Ltd Ed 6-dvd box set with the trilogy redone in chronological order as an extra. Miles better than The Departed and such a shame that they felt they had to give Scorsese the Oscar for that out of all his classics.

Here is a review of the UK Infernal Affairs Trilogy vs reviews of the individual HK BDs, which make up the boxset: I, II, & III.

I have the HK releases and they look fantastic. I haven't seen the UK releases to compare, but have heard that the image is soft in places.

For the difference in price, I suppose it would be hard to justify buying the HK trilogy over the UK version, but as these are some of my favourite films (and I adore the HK box-art :rolleyes:); I went for the HK release.

I was sorely tempted to buy the Korean release but, unless this release is extremely disappointing or I come into money, I'll stick with the UK release for the moment.
