It's a pity The Maltese Falcon doesn't include the two earlier versions like the dvd. Oh well, luckily I still have it.

I never actually picked that release up. Only had the old snapper version and they'd already announced that it would come to HD sometime so I've waited all this time, haha!

It's strange that they're including the trailers and not the films. I'd be happy if they were on there in SD. Might have to pick up the 3-discer now.

Amazon Germany have a limited steelbook of Black Rain listed for August 19th, featuring nicer artwork (one of the original posters) than the already available BD. It'll look nice sitting next to my other discs.

Anchor Bay will release The Evil Dead in a stunning R1 set. I hope it'll be multi-region! http://www.thedigitalbits.com/mytwoc...81.html#070710

And it looks like most of the extras from the various dvd versions are present, not to mention 1.85 and 1.33 versions.............SOLD! Cool cover but would have been nice if it used the art from The Ultimate Edition. I'm fussy that way.

Yeah, I'm not sold on the green logo. They'll never better the original poster art that we had in the UK. I've still got the Betamax video sleeve of it somewhere. I hope it's not too damaged

Return Of The Living Dead? Yes please! I see that The 1978 Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers is being released on the same day.

Not just this one, about 10 titles will be re-released as steelbooks on that date. And, if the information Paramount handed me is correct, the big FSK logo on the front is just a sticker you can remove easily.

I've ordered my fair share of about ... well, 7 or so of those Steelbooks

Two more from Fox.

September 14th

Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978)

Return Of The Living Dead

Definitely up for Body Snatchers myself.

It's like a barrage of new announcements coming from all over at the moment!
