Yeah, I know Tarantino has been an important factor in ensuring some little-known films see the light of day, but I was thinking of Hero (or, to use the phrase on the trailer 'Quentin Tarantino presents Hero) when films are marketed using his name rather than the director's.

It's a double-edged sword and I suppose we just have to grin and bear it, taking the rough with the smooth and being thankful some obscure films are released because Tarantino has championed them.

And i'm willing to bet at least a few people out there gave HERO a try thanks to tarantino's name on the box.

He also helped put out quality releases of fulci's the beyond and Jack hill's switchblade sisters via rolling thunder pictures.

Incidentally I picked up Rolling Thunder in part due to Tarantino naming his company after the film.

Cool. I like Coburn. When the hell is anyone going to release A Fistful of Dynamite?

Yeah wish to hell he'd reprised his roll as Steiner in Cross of Iron's little seen sequel.....

I really want to see the sequel to Cross of Iron but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

That's rumoured to be coming from Olive Films as part of their Republic Pictures deal. Been years since I saw it on TV.

Everything! But after a little searching, I found the answer myself. German Paramount blu-rays do indeed have reversible covers without the fsk logo, so Beverly Hills Cop 1-3 shall be mine!
