It's a standalone documentary feature though, Demdike. It had a fascinating production history - I can't wait to see this

Doesn't every film of Stanley's?

He even disowned his feature length video for Marillion's Brave album.

I actually like the Frankenheimer / Stanley film. I saw it at the cinema and really enjoyed it. I admit i haven't seen it since.

It's pretty poor. I saw it last year for the first time - it's one of those "so bad it's good" sort of deals - such a shame because Frankenheimer was a pretty solid filmmaker on the whole.

Was looking at this. However the VCI disc is region free so I'll keep that one. Lousy cover art as well. Worth considering if you missed the VCI release however as its an excellent film and actually seems to be cheaper as well.

There are also two alternative cover variants for the Mediabook release:

As well as a standard amaray release which was released in 2012 and can be picked up pretty cheap:

I'm not sure whether the new mediabook release utilises a different transfer to the older release though.

I would argue that if the bottom one is a port of the VCI release then that's the one to go for,. then again I'm not a fan of mediabooks. Seems to much like speculator bait to me.
