I'm not holding my breath though!
What I miss is creativity! Why spend a lot of money for people designing the artwork for new DVD and Blu-ray releases when they come up with an artwork that is basically the same?

You're absolutley right about the reversible sleeves, though. It's not that expensive and it would certainly please more people.

Greetings!

I was always amazed The Frighteners never faced any kind of media backlash is the US for that opening.

Well, at least the artwork is original...

Great spot. Hopefully, the Disney Corporation will notice the similarity and sue, forcing Universal to change their artwork! Fingers crossed, anyway.

I see that Universal have updated the artwork for The Frighteners slightly. Gone is that awful bar at the bottom advertising the 2 versions and they're using the original font for the title. Not as good as having the original poster, but it's a little better....and it least it isn't the same as Universal's dvd release from a few years ago.

Jesus.You know something?
I wish these big studios would put in half the effort labels like Arrow,Shameless and Blue Underground put in.
Both of those are hideous.

The art department at Universal are of the Killer's Moon ilk.....

What's really annoying is that Universal used the original art on the hd-dvd.....and now felt like they had to change it for the blu-ray.

Universal have the big titles and a guaranteed number of sales so they don't really need to put the effort in in order to ensure they're in the black at the end of the year.
