I certainly can't imagine the guy out of Island Of Death doing that...

He's really good in it but the film's so alienating it's really hard to engage with it.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter 3D - it was entertaining but I was expecting more from it. The 3D was pretty poor as I half expected, CGI awful and acting pretty dire. 3/5

I really want to see this as Cronenberg is one of my all-time favourite directors but, from the headlines I've seen, I'm not going to watch it expecting something on a par with Dead Ringers, The Fly, Videodrome or Spider.

Sounds right up my alley!

As the Africa Oyé festival has been cancelled this weekend I shall use the time to hit the flicks and see that I think.

I was going to go watch Cosmopolis on Monday, but my local Cineworld isn't showing it!

Red Lights or Abe Lincoln... any opinions?

I've just had a look at the online listings and my local Cineworld is the same, except the new releases with the most showings are Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Chernobyl Diaries, both of which I really want to see. It's a shame AL: VH has five screenings a day in 3-D but only two in 2-D, both at bad times for me.

Yeah, I had to go to my local independent cinema to see Cosmopolis as it wasn't on anywhere else (although I'd have gone there anyway rather than the local multiplex to be honest)

I'd rather see it at Cineworld as I have a Cineworld Unlimited card, but will check the independent cinema in Stockton and see if it's on the cards there.
